Looking forward to tomorrow nights game, we have Italy who have been playing really well especially with there key man Pirlo in the centre of midfield, running the show. Spain who have been playing without an out and out striker, have been accused of playing boring football with their “keep the ball” style of play. The current Euro Cup champions and World Cup Champions are looking to make history with a third successive victory in the major competitions.

The referee, who was named last night, will be Portuguese referee Pedro Proenca Oliveira Alves Garcia or Pedro Proenca for short. Pedro has refereed a few games in this summers Euro 2012 tournament and spends his time off the pitch as a Financial Advisor in Lisbon.

The Final will be played in the Kiev stadium which has been newly built for this Euro Cup Finals, The pitch has taken a hammering after the amount of games that have been played on it over the last 24 days. The latest team news suggests that spain will be crowding the midfield again attempting to nullify the threat of Pirlo in the Italian midfield. The Italian coach has also said that his team are the underdogs for this game, but the spanish are also cautious with Fabregas saying that the main threat to a spanish win is Mario Balotelli.

Mario Balotelli is a key playing in this game and he could determine the outcome. Balotelli had the “game of his life” he said after the win against the Germans in the Semi-final. The Italian forward is one of the best players in the tournament on his day but he is very temperamental. Balotelli with eith make or break the Italians final hopes, if he turns up like he did in the semi-final then the italians have a very strong chance of being the next European champions.
